The call was clear: exercise the majority in the streets. This was the call made by the President (e) of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, in the act of Acción Democrática in rejection of the Dec 6th fraud, and in support of the Citizen Consultation.
“Mobilization and protest is essential for democracy. That is why I call on you to exercise the majority, to seek out every Venezuelan to explain to them why we reject the fraudulent process of December 6th”.
He also said “from now on”, the 6D is defeated politically, internationally and diplomatically, because it does not meet the minimum electoral conditions that make it a competitive election.
He recalled that among these electoral conditions are the designation of the National Electoral Council by the National Parliament, an electoral calendar, the right to elect and be elected, the return of political parties, and international observation.
Regarding the Citizen Consultation called by the National Assembly exactly one week ago, Guaidó requested the active participation of all Venezuelans, while recalling that this is a political route not an end in itself.
Present at the activity were the AD militants, the party’s directorate headed by Henry Ramos Allup; Edgar Zambrano; Carlos Prosperi. They were also accompanied by several members of the National Parliament.

Impossible to annihilate the soul
In the message that the President of the Interim Government delivered in the Act of AD, he emphasized that this political party is “testimony to the struggle of years”.
He recalled that in the UN Mission Report, the intention of the regime to “annihilate” the opposition in Venezuela is clearly established.
“The great conclusion of the UN Report is the pretension of the dictatorship to annihilate the soul of Venezuelans, their will to fight. Now I ask, how is the soul of Romulo Betancourt, for example, annihilated?”
Likewise, the also President of the NA said that after the “devastating” document of the Independent Mission of Verification of Facts of the UN on Human Rights in Venezuela, one cannot relativize the pain “we cannot turn a blind eye”, since it is a matter of human dignity and thus the importance of the mobilization, the peaceful protests, the rejection to the 6D and the participation in the Citizen Consultation.”
“We are going to be in the streets resisting and advancing with our people. We are going to see Venezuela reborn.”
