The President of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, reiterated that he and the rest of those working within the Legitimate Government will continue to work in favor of democracy and Venezuelan laws.
“We are and will continue to defend our sovereignty and Constitution,” said Guaidó this Friday through his personal Twitter account.
Likewise, the president reiterated that Nicolas Maduro’s regime is singled out and accused of drug trafficking and terrorism by the U.S. justice system, which is impartial.
The Legitimate Government issued a statement in which it said it was confident of the charges against Nicolas Maduro and 13 of his accomplices. Furthermore, they hope the United States will help free the country from the criminal system by which it has been ensnared for years.
