Venezuelan Interim President Juan Guaidó reiterated that Nicolás Maduro’s regime takes no responsibility over the lives of Venezuelans by putting their integrity at risk due to the contradictions and mishandling of the truth and its consequences.
The president assured that there have been clear inconsistencies in the information offered by the dictatorship about the cases of COVID-19 in the country, increasing the persecution in the midst of the health tragedy of those who denounce this.
“They usurp functions and don’t even come close to acknowledging the tragedy and taking the actions that have been taken in most of the world,” he said through his Twitter account.
The President of the National Assembly explained the urgency and necessity of postponing the payment of taxes, favoring the productive, hospital and information sector with fuel, in view of the worsening of the gasoline shortage.
The Venezuelan President in charge informed that the Interim Government has achieved humanitarian elements, such as flights, for the return of Venezuelans to the country and links with allied countries.
“I have also instructed communication with the multilateral organizations about Venezuela’s requirements and tomorrow at the National Assembly session we will continue working,” he said.
