The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, sent a message of struggle and inclusion to the country’s LGBT+ community on the occasion of International Pride Day.
“Our effort as a society must be so that we have the opportunity to be happy without discrimination,” the president said through his Twitter account.
Guaidó urged the LGBT+ community to fight hand in hand with the Legitimate Government for the rights of all Venezuelans. “We fight for inclusion and dignity, that’s pride.”
“Venezuela has a pending task and only including we can feel Pride,” he said.
In this sense, he concluded by saying that “only together will we achieve it.”
