The President (E), Juan Guaidó, this Thursday swore in 370 operations and political municipal commands for “freedom and free elections” of the 24 regions, that will promote the popular consultation that has as its motto “Venezuela raises its voice”, in rejection of the parliamentary elections of next December 6th. Likewise, he invited Venezuelans to be part of these commands and of the struggle for change in the country.
He entrusted the 3,116 sworn leaders and municipal teams that will lead more than 7,100 commands of the consultation throughout the country, that the fundamental task is to go out to the streets to accompany the protest, to reject electoral fraud, to articulate and organize the call for the popular consultation and to prepare themselves in the fight of ideas and arguments to confront the dictatorship.
“You are the vanguard of the country, you are the line of republican resistance of a Venezuela that needs you. That cries out and raises its voice, demanding justice, dignity, being able to accompany the social protests of the citizens and promoting through this exercise of majority, citizenship and irreverence that is the popular consultation,” he expressed to the recently sworn in.
He stressed that the call arises from the citizens to confront the dictatorship and challenge the dictator Nicolas Maduro and his entourage that seeks to silence the voice of the people. However, “we are here firmly willing to move forward” and thanked the “brave” leaders for joining the democratic cause.
“The popular consultation is a success because today it gathers us, today it summons us, because today we are able in each one of the municipalities and states to raise our voice against Maduro, against dictatorship to reject a fraud and to put forward the flags for the solution to the crisis that Venezuela is going through,” he said.
In his intervention he insisted that the “consultation is not a whim, it is to recognize that each Venezuelan has a role in this struggle, that each militant citizen, sympathizer, man and woman, is part of this construction and transformation process in Venezuela today”.
At the same time, he recognized the resistance of Venezuelans who have very clear “why and for what we fight”, whose objective is to achieve “freedom, to re-connect with society and to heal deep wounds resulting from corruption, disaster and crisis”.
He maintained that Venezuelan citizens demand the celebration of free, fair and verifiable presidential and parliamentary elections, as proposed by the National Parliament and affirmed that the entire world rejects this new electoral fraud proposed by the dictatorship.
Guaidó reiterated that the electoral fraud attempt is defeated and asserted:”it is not enough to reject it, it is necessary to mobilize and unite to exercise the majority and pressure against the dictatorship”.
He assured that the right to “vote will be worth, our vote will be worth when we are back in democracy”. However, he affirmed that as long as the dictatorship continues usurping power, it will be impossible to choose.
He recalled that the Interim Government presented an alternative in the electoral issue and, also “a proposal of a possible country through a government of national emergency, that puts the Venezuelan as the center of action and action that directs us and summons us as leaders”.
The event was attended by civil organizations, representatives and regional leaders of political parties and deputies to the National Assembly from all over Venezuela.
The opening words were in charge of the Venezuelan Ambassador in Spain, Antonio Ecarri, who highlighted that this is the moment to assume with much strength and seriousness as objective the call for the popular consultation, which in his criteria, “will serve to support the entrepreneur and give a future to the Venezuelans”, for such reason, “we have to go out to the streets with courage to defend the future and reunification of the country”.
In the headquarters of Un Nuevo Tiempo in the state of Zulia met the representatives and political leaders of the democratic political parties and leaders of dissident ‘Chavismo’ in that region, who through the platform Zoom, manifested their support for the convocation of the popular consultation.

In the same way, he assured that the political and social force is rising to intensify the struggle against the tyranny.
