The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, reiterated that during the Covid-19 pandemic, Venezuelans must be protected by specialists in order to save their lives.
Likewise, the President recalled that he formally requested the National Assembly (NA) to evaluate the possibility of extending the Heroes of Health program to other sectors of the country.
“It is urgent to save lives while we fight to save Venezuela and also the region from the risk represented by the dictatorship,” he said this Friday through his personal Twitter account.
The also President of the Parliament, recalled that through this health bonus, 45 thousand people have already received their contribution. He explained that the program has had 93% territorial coverage, and the benefit has reached 325 of the 335 municipalities of the country.
Guaidó informed that the beneficiaries who have not yet been able to register in the digital purse application are still on time. “It will not expire,” he said.
“Protecting life, that is the duty of the process that we have been carrying out for years, and also that of the international community that accompanies us in this struggle,” he added.
The national president also expressed his support to the inhabitants of Yaracuy State who protested this Friday for the lack of food and basic services in the state.
“Following the mechanisms of biosecurity, I encourage you to follow the example of Yaracuy, Miranda, Zulia, Amazonas and Monagas this week: let them find us in the streets,” he ended.
