The Legitimate Government of Venezuela, under the presidency in charge of Juan Guaidó, denounced the harassment by Nicolás Maduro’s regime against the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Alimenta La Solidaridad and Caracas Mi Convive, and their directors.
The Government warned that this is a new violation of the human rights of Venezuelans by Maduro’s dictatorship.
He also expressed his support for both the political leader of Primero Justicia, director and founder of the NGO, Roberto Patiño, as well as Alimenta La Solidaridad and Caracas Mi Convive under this new attack not only of the organization, but on the more than 25,000 children and families who have access to food thanks to this NGOs.
President (E) Juan Guaidó also sent his message of support to Patiño and the NGOs, and highlighted their work in favor of the most needy Venezuelans.
“Today the dictatorship harasses Roberto Patino, who’s social work helps to serve thousands of children in food insecurity,” he said through his personal Twitter account.
This Wednesday, Alimenta La Solidaridad and Caracas Mi Convive reported that since November 20th they have suffered constant attacks on their organization. That same day, Patiño was harassed.
On Tuesday, November 24th, officials of the National Police Against Corruption raided the headquarters located in El Rosal in Caracas. Likewise, the Superintendency of the institutions of the Banking Sector (SUDEBAN) froze their bank accounts.
