The Presidential Commissioner for the Center of Government, Leopoldo López, declared about the Report of the UN International Fact-Finding Mission published today through the social network twitter, assuring that the United Nations verifies all the human rights violations committed by the dictatorship since 2014.
“In 2014 we understood that we had to unmask Maduro and his corrupt, inefficient, repressive dictatorship with links to drug trafficking from the international community. Today, the UN report on human rights violations demonstrates the veracity of these allegations,” he says in the beginning of a thread of tweets.
In his messages, López emphasizes that the United Nations verifies in its report all violations of human rights, torture, forced disappearances, murders, arbitrary detentions, and cruel and inhuman treatment by Maduro and his repressive organisms, which he says are the ones that plan and execute.
“Thousands of us have been victims of the atrocities of a dictatorship that seeks to maintain itself by usurping power in order to continue bleeding the people. Some are more known than others, more named than others, but all innocent who have been victims of the cruelties of Maduro’s murderers”.
Finally, the presidential commissioner stated that “Today the international community is proving what we have been denouncing for years. Case by case, crimes against humanity that are never subject to the statute of limitations are registered and verified by the United Nations. Each victim of Maduro and his accomplices will get justice”.
