The Presidential Commissioner for the Center of Government, Leopoldo López, thanked the democratic forces in Spain for their commitment to the fight against Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship.
López reported that in the last 10 days he has held meetings with the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, PSOE; Pablo Casado, Partido Popular; with Inés Arrimadas, Ciudadanos; and with Santiago Abascal de Vox.
“The struggle against the dictatorship has no ideological distinctions,” he said.
The Commissioner remarked Spain’s work in favor of human rights, freedom and Venezuelan democracy.
“The union of the democratic sectors inside and outside Venezuela is necessary”, he highlighted
Last Thursday, Leopoldo López met with the Venezuelan Diaspora in Madrid, to whom he assured that being united and organized, Venezuelans will be stronger and the actions will be more forceful. He also thanked the representatives of all the sectors present at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Center in Madrid: political leaders, members of NGOs, unions and civil society for their support of the Venezuelan cause.
