Nicolas Maduro’s regime has taken political action against officials of the interim government of President Juan Guaidó in retaliation for the trial in London, in which the Maduro regime sought to use an alleged humanitarian plan with the UN as an excuse to take control of one billion euros.
As the London Court did not accede to Maduro’s request to hand over the billion euros, the regime took political action against officials of the legitimate government in an attempt to achieve, through terrorism, what it did not achieve in the London Court: diverting the billion euros to feed its corruption, pretending to hide this action in an alleged aid through the United Nations system.
The Interim Government will continue to defend Venezuela’s assets abroad, and will alert the courts and competent authorities of these facts, in order to expose the criminal intentions of Maduro’s regime.
