The Presidential Commissioner for the United Nations (UN) Miguel Pizarro, rejected that Maduro’s regime once again lashed out against the non-governmental organizations of Venezuela.
“Hundreds of NGOs have helped from different areas all those who today suffer the worst consequences of the crisis and the dictatorship in Venezuela,” said Pizarro in a message published through his social network accounts.
The official of the Legitimate Government denounced how the dictatorship is going to request information from NGOs about their donors and beneficiaries in order to control their activities.
“Our support to those from each of these organizations, continue to fight and face this regime that day by day has sought to subdue anyone who raises their voice and helps alleviate the crisis that they themselves generated,” he ended.
Within the aforementioned conditions, the organizations must deliver to the dictatorship all their financial and operational information, as well as be accountable for their activities and their beneficiaries so as not to be outlawed, thus obstructing their optimal functioning in the country and exposing large numbers of people in a vulnerable situation to the same regime that regularly persecutes them.
