The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, arrived this Saturday in Madrid, Spain, as part of his ongoing International Agenda 2020 which aims to achieve concrete measures against Maduro’s dictatorship.
Upon arrival at Barajas-Adolfo Suarez airport, the head of state was welcomed by the Venezuelan diaspora, as well as by Venezuelan Ambassador Antonio Ecarri and Lilian Tintori, wife of the presidential commissioner for the Center of Government, Leopoldo Lopez.
“Very excited to be in Madrid and to be able to meet the Venezuelan diaspora that has taken refuge in this country,” were the first words in Spanish territory of President (E) Guaidó.
Similarly, the Venezuelan president stressed that with the tour he is making “he has managed to unify a cause that today belongs to all Venezuelans. To demand for our future, for free elections. We count on Europe to achieve the freedom of Venezuela”.
Finally, Guaidó reiterated the invitation to gather at 6:00 pm at the Puerta del Sol in Madrid.
