The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, attended a meeting with the Confederation of Associations of Agricultural Producers of Venezuela (Fedeagro) in the city of Caracas, where he reiterated his commitment to the cessation of usurpation and his constant struggle to recover production of country.
“We don’t have to depend on a food allowance, on a cardboard box. The last days we have been talking about the Food and Agriculture Country Plan, we will continue to stand up and face our people”, he said.
During his speech, Guaidó acknowledged the struggle of land producers at the national level, and the struggle defending and denouncing the abuses that the regime carries out daily on the productive sector of the country and reiterated that he will continue to fight nationally and internationally to jumpstart economic and commercial activity in Venezuela “because its people won’t give up.”
On the other hand, he rejected that the dictatorship it still insists to blame the sanctions of the United States for the emergency of the country is in. We have to remember that those who “have stolen and committed crimes in the country” are them.
Similarly, he reacted to the threats of the regime towards the National Assembly, reiterating that “he is not afraid” and that Parliament will continue to exercise its functions.
“It is not going to be through the force that they will stop us. Here are the peasants, the entrepreneurs, the producers. It is the whole country that wants a change”, he said.
