The President of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, encouraged the Venezuelan people to go out to protest for their rights, for better living standards and to reject the electoral fraud orchestrated by Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
“Go out and protest for what we can and will recover,” said the president on Monday through his personal Twitter account.
He also recalled that the dictatorship wants to normalize the crisis and force citizens to live in a constant humanitarian crisis.
“Venezuela will not allow it. We are going to raise our voices as seven states did today and took to the streets,” he ended.
This Monday, several protests were registered at a national level. In Cojedes they demanded the restoration of domestic gas service, while in Nueva Esparta and Merida they demanded a better healthcare system.
El objetivo de la dictadura es convertir la normalidad en urgencia.
Venezuela no lo va a permitir. Vamos a alzar la voz como lo hicieron hoy siete estados que se movilizaron en las calles.
