The president in charge of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, denounced this Saturday the disappearance of journalist Darvinson Rojas at the hands of the death squad of Maduro’s dictatorship, the so-called Special Action Forces (FAES).
“The dictatorship imprisons health workers and kidnaps citizens like journalist Darvinson Rojas for denouncing, while its para-police forces murder with the pandemic as an excuse. Cursed are those who point guns at their people,” said President Guaidó on his official Twitter account.
Finally, the Venezuelan president said that “we are already coordinating everything necessary to support Darvison Rojas’ family and his lawyers, in addition to the necessary registration of the State crime to officially communicate it to the multinational organizations.
Before his kidnapping, the journalist had reported through a social networks that “the FAES has just arrived at their house to ask for collaboration in accompanying them to their command because they received an anonymous call saying that there is a case of COVIDー19. If we do not obey the order, they will have to take us into custody”.
