The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, expressed his support for the national protest of all workers in the education and healthcare sectors.
The president said that these peaceful demonstrations confirm that Venezuelans continue to fight for a better country.
“Each protest from a sector, each voice raised in demand transforms doubts into certainties and shows that we Venezuelans will not give up until we are free,” he said through his Twitter account this Wednesday.
He added that the support among the different sectors of the country promotes the mobilization of Venezuela.
Likewise, the also President of the National Assembly (NA), explained that the struggle of both groups of workers represents the struggle for the present and the future of the nation, the battle for the life of the citizens and for the education of Venezuelan children.
“It is the duty of all of us to accompany them and support their struggle,” he ended.
This Wednesday, several street protests were held in the state of Aragua, Capital District, Lara, Merida, Portuguesa, Sucre, Táchira, Vargas and Zulia.
The teachers demanded optimal conditions to continue educating in Venezuela and salary improvements, while the doctors asked for supplies for the healthcare centers.
Cada protesta de un sector, cada voz alzada por una exigencia transforma las dudas en certezas y demuestra que los venezolanos no nos rendimos hasta ser libres.
