With regard to the commemoration of World Humanitarian Day, the President in charge of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, honored the work of volunteers, NGOs and deputies who in Venezuela day by day struggle with the firm objective of alleviating the complex humanitarian emergency that millions of Venezuelans suffer.
“Today we honor World Day of Humanitarian Assistance for the work of Volunteers, NGOs and Deputies in denouncing and alleviating the complex humanitarian emergency suffered by 7 million Venezuelans”, the president wrote in his personal Twitter account.
He also reported that more than 800 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered throughout the country.
Numerous NGOs work hand in hand with President Guaidó to deliver such humanitarian aid to the neediest populations in the country.
Lester Toledo, Humanitarian Aid Coordinator of the legitimate government, also joined the recognition of all those who face danger and adversity to help others. “Today, more than ever, their work is valuable to ensure that Humanitarian Aid reaches those who need it most in Venezuela”, he said through his social network accounts.
