“Once again the lies of the dictatorship are stripped away,” said President Juan Guaidó, referring to the new report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on the true figures applied to the coronavirus diagnostic tests.
The president reiterated that Nicolás Maduro’s regime does not mind lying even when the lives of Venezuelans are at risk. “They lie about everything,” he said through his Twitter account.
The Head of State stated that the dictatorship does not have the capacity to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and explained that the only proposal to save Venezuela from the crisis is through the creation of the National Emergency Government.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) issued a report that revealed that the regime only carried out 2.37% of the total number of tests to diagnose the presence of the new coronavirus, with Venezuela being one of the countries with the lowest number of tests carried out in the region.
