President Juan Guaidó reiterated on Wednesday that neither the legitimate government nor the Venezuelan democracy supporters will participate in the electoral fraud orchestrated by Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship.
“The people already know, but it is not superfluous to remind the dictatorship: we are not going to participate in frauds, as we did not participate in the farce of 2018,” said the president through his personal Twitter account.
He also recalled that to overthrow Maduro’s regime and its allies, the majority needs to be exercised in a strategic way. He explained that Venezuelans must be mobilized towards a route that will facilitate the transition to freedom in Venezuela.
The president explained that the next step is to rebuild the Unitary Pact between the democratic political parties and to promote the National Emergency Government.
“We are going to fight for an outcome and a transition. That means having clear the minimum conditions for an electoral process,” he added.
Guaidó reiterated that the central conditions for having a viable election are
To have an independent National Electoral Council elected by the National Assembly.
Full participation of all political parties.
Return the symbols of the parties to their legitimate leaders.
Providing an electoral calendar for presidential and parliamentary elections.
“That is our fight: to end the usurpation, establish the transition with an emergency government and have free elections. To hesitate is to lose ourselves,” he ended.
“Esa es nuestra lucha: poner fin a la usurpación, instaurar la transición con un gobierno de emergencia y tener elecciones libres. Vacilar es perdernos”, concluyó.
Ya el Pueblo lo sabe, pero no está de más recordárselo a la dictadura: no vamos a participar en fraudes, como no participamos en la farsa de 2018.
