The President in charge of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, stated that the dictatorship has no chance of recovering Venezuela, therefore, he urged the union to achieve the transition to a National Emergency Government.
“We have been in hyperinflation for 29 months, 17 years of price controls, 6 million hectares intervened, there were almost 12,000 manufacturing companies in 1998, today there are less than 2,000 left. There we can see the image of the destruction of the productive apparatus that the electrical system does not escape. The only chance Venezuela has is a National Emergency Government. As long as Maduro usurps functions, with his links to terrorism and drug trafficking, there will be no way out,” warned the president.
President (e) Guaidó stated that “to reactivate the productive apparatus, the oil industry and that this provides a positive balance, public services, energy, gasoline, we need the National Emergency Government. It is an urgent need for the survival of the Republic and also for the continent”.
“The dictatorship does not provide any kind of opportunities to solve what is happening, nobody is going to lend money to a drug trafficker, so we have to make a double effort, correct and move forward very strongly,” he said.
Crimes Against Humanity
The Venezuelan head of state referred to Operation Gideon and reiterated that for months the Legitimate Government had disassociated itself from that plan, and it was the dictatorship that infiltrated and manipulated it.
“I would not like to name any names yet, due to the course of the international investigation,” Guaidó revealed.
“The dictatorship committed a crime against humanity, we must remember that in Venezuela there is a commission to verify the facts of crimes against humanity, to which we will also request an investigation, because what they did with that operation, infiltrated and promoted by the dictatorship, was to massacre, hide corpses and sow prisoners,” he ended.
