The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, said that Maduro’s dictatorship lost the support of all sectors of the country, following the mobilization carried out by residents of the San Juan parish in Caracas, despite the violence unleashed by paramilitary groups.
“Today the fear that for years was infused with abuses of the regime’s armed groups was overcome, today our people came out, and concentrated on the streets raising their voices and supporting our path of struggle”, said President Guaido in a message published in Twitter.
The head of state stressed that the usurpation lost the support of all sectors of the country, and today they only have violence as a tool. “Although they tried to intimidate, our people organized and united went out into the streets without fear.”
In addition, the president of Venezuela reiterated the commitment to the international community to end these paramilitary groups, “and strengthen the peace of our region that today is violated by the Usurper Regime.”
