The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, toured the city of Maracay, Aragua state, on Saturday.
For the second consecutive weekend in more than 300 municipalities in Venezuela, the streets, neighborhoods and sectors were taken as part of the new phase of Operation Libertad, the president said.
From the Aragua state, he said that the urgent change in the nation depends on each citizen. “Today we continue to stir consciences in more than 300 municipalities in Venezuela. I ask Venezuelans to do the last ditch effort, do not lose hope because we are going to conquer our country”, he said.
Open Market Tour
At approximately 10.00 am, the President in charge arrived at the Girardot Municipal Open Market and there, in the company of the second Vice President of Parliament Stalin González, deputies of the AN, and leaders of the region, toured and talked with merchants and customers; who said they “can’t stand” the economic situation and the “mockery” of the regime with the minimum monthly salary and Clap boxes.
He ratified the support of his Colombian counterpart, Iván Duque, in the fight against narcoterrorism. This after the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) announced through a video, that it will resume the armed struggle.
