The President (E) of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, together with deputies of the National Assembly (AN), rescued congresswoman Yanet Fermín from an attempted kidnapping in her home by officials of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM).
“We are aligned with the future of this country and we are going to rescue it. This is a violation and we will not allow it. We have put (forward) our chests over and over again and we are going to continue doing it on behalf of our people,” said the president from the outskirts of Fermín’s residence in El Hatillo.
Guaidó added that since those who usurp power cannot face the country, they expose the military to commit these acts of harassment against parliamentarians.
Neither the DGCIM nor the false TSJ are going to harass us for their fear of January 5th” he said.
The head of state, accompanied by human rights lawyers and deputies Adriana Pichardo and Delsa Solórzano, informed the media that the parliamentarian Fermín was safe.
Pichardo confirmed publicly that in Fermín’s house was nothing irregular and is perfect. “Anything that happens in the early hours of the morning is simply a false element (of proof) that they try to sow (plant),” she said.
