The President (E) of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, regretted the death of the deputy of the National Assembly, Hernán Alemán, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The deputy was in exile due to the persecution of Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
“We are saddened by the news of the death of Congressman Hernán Alemán,” he said through his Twitter account.
The national leader extended his solidarity to the family, friends and colleagues of Acción Democrática (the political party to which he belonged) of the parliamentarian. “Peace to his soul,” he said.
Deputies of the National Assembly (NA) reported on Tuesday the death of Hernán Alemán, MP for the state of Zulia, who was in exile in Colombia. On June 28th, Alemán was admitted to an intensive care unit at a clinic in Bogotá, after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
