The Acting President of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, reiterated his gratitude to the Democratic representatives of the United States Congress for their welcome and the support for the recovery of democracy in Venezuela.
Albio Sires, Darren Soto, Dick Durbin and Donna Shalala met with the President of the National Assembly and President in Charge to reiterate their commitment to the Venezuelan democratic struggle.
“Grateful for the welcome and support of the United States Congress. We are united by a cause that today belongs to our entire continent,” he said.
Guaidó acknowledged the commitment of the House of Representatives to Venezuela and each of the Venezuelans “who keep fighting.”
“Our gratitude for the support and recognition of the struggle of the Venezuelan people over the years. It is very important for us to have the unity and support necessary to advance in solutions to the crisis in Venezuela,” said Guaidó to Congressman Darren Soto.
