The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, assured that after years of building a majority and exercising it and denouncing the dictatorship, Venezuela has reached a point “where the solution to the crisis is evident”.
The president revealed that 93% of Venezuelans want change and the accompanying coalition understands and supports the cause of the legitimate government.
The president of Parliament also described the regime’s attempts to deceive the world as a “demonstration of pride” and set an example of the measures taken by the Brazilian government with dictatorship officials.
“The regime believes that it can continue to subdue Venezuelans and deceive the world. A demonstration of pride that has consequences, as we saw today with the measures of the Government of Brazil, and that can no longer hide the inconsistencies in the discourse of those who usurp functions”, he wrote in his personal twitter account.
Guaidó reaffirmed the work that his government has carried out since the beginning of this year, where he stressed the pressure it has exerted to achieve a “peaceful transition to democracy”.
“We are not going to relax for a moment,” he said. He added that this is why street mobilization is still essential to take the next step.
“Venezuelans are very clear about what we want and the world has also given evidence of the strength we have as the presidency in charge, that we exercise a majority that represents an alternative of trust, growth and rescue of democracy in Venezuela”, he concluded.
