The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, sent a message of strength and brotherhood to José Daniel Ferrer, general coordinator of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (Unpacu) and leader of the Cuban democratic struggle.
“Leadership is exercised by example. Democracy is not a gift, it is always at stake,” said Guaidó in a message released through his social network accounts.
The national president affirmed that Ferrer is an example for those who lead the defense of democracy despite the risk that implies facing regimes that violate human rights.
“We are united in the struggle to see our countries free. ¡Patria y Vida! ”, he concluded.
On his part, the Cuban democratic leader pointed out “we are very grateful to our friend Juan Guaidó, Interim President of Venezuela, for his prompt and important solidarity. The struggle of the peoples of Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba is one.”
