The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, supported on Wednesday the 24-hour strike that nurses began throughout the country. Health workers are demanding a decent salary and optimal conditions of the health centers to serve the citizens who need it.
“Today our nurses take to the streets, protesting for their rights and to be able to work for the health of Venezuelans”, Guaidó said through his personal Twitter account.
The president asked to trust the protest of the nurses and that the rest of Venezuelan society accompany the health workers in their struggle.
“Your claim is fair and belongs to everyone. On November 16th, let’s all protest together”, Guaidó concluded.
Nurses remain in protest in 20 states of the country for quality of life for the guild and for a quality health service for Venezuelans.
