The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, supported the protest of the teaching sector in several states of the country. He also reminded that Nicolás Maduro’s regime will not be able to prevent Venezuelans from raising their voices for a better quality of life.
“The dictatorship is not going to be able to annihilate the will to fight of Venezuelans,” he said this Wednesday through his personal Twitter account.
The president stressed that the struggle of teachers only seeks what is just: to educate with dignity and live on their salary.
Guaidó said that the street protest and the determination of the citizens is what is necessary to continue the struggle against Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
“It is in the streets where we strongly manifest our demands for our country, for our future. Go out and protest for your rights,” he concluded.
This Wednesday, teachers from several states in the country expressed their discontent with the decay of educational infrastructure and the low salaries that are not enough for even half of the basic food basket.
Hoy nuestro sector educación volvió a las calles en todo el país.
En su protesta elevada, en su voz alzada, está la esperanza de poder educar dignamente y vivir de su sueldo.
