This Monday, the Presidential Commissioner for the Mining Arc, Américo De Grazia, denounced that Nicolás Maduro’s regime has handed over 50% of the national territory to the terrorist group National Liberation Army (ELN) to manage the mining and drug trafficking activity in the Mining Arc.
Likewise, the also Deputy of the National Assembly (NA) warned that there are approximately 30 indigenous ethnic groups that are the most harmed by this policy applied by the regime throughout the Mining Arc.
In response to this denunciation, President Juan Guaido reiterated that the Legitimate Government continues to work so that the world catalogues as “blood gold” any type of mineral that is derived from the Mining Arc.
Likewise, he expressed his concern about the danger that this criminal gang represents for the Venezuelan indigenous people, the population around them and the natural resources of the nation.
“That is why we have worked to have Venezuelan gold catalogued as blood gold, we have also instructed to make the tragedy represented by the Mining Arc visible to the world to stop the excesses of a dictatorship that is the enemy of our native peoples and natural resources,” said Guaidó on Monday through his personal Twitter account.
