The president in charge of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, condemned this Sunday the attack by Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship against the deputies of the National Assembly, who have been denied entry to the Federal Legislative Palace.
“Military officials are trying to prevent the deputies from fulfilling their duty to defend Venezuelans, the people they also swore to protect. We are fighting against this and we are going to defeat it together,” the head of state said through his official Twitter account.
Similarly, the president (E) of Venezuela assured that “today, whoever helps to prevent the legitimate installation of the Venezuelan Parliament becomes an accomplice of the dictatorship and an accomplice of those who are oppressing the people of Venezuela.”
“They will be exposed to their families, the country and the world,” he concluded.
