The basic services crisis continues to deepen in every corner of the country. However, there are towns in which they have suffered for years from the bad policies of Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
The California II Community, located in San Juan de los Morros, Guárico State, has not received piped water for more than two years. Its inhabitants explained that they are supplied through a well, however, its water not suitable for consumption.
“It is difficult for water to reach you, we have to fill up in a well that is down here and carry it up there,” said Luis Pereira, a resident of the area.
In addition to the lack of water, the ‘Guariqueños’ denounced that the community also suffers from constant power cuts, which affect the few electrical appliances that the 300 families in the area posess.
