The EFE news agency reported that Nicolás Maduro’s regime kidnapped two workers from the Spanish Embassy in Venezuela on Saturday night, after Commissioner Leopoldo López left the country.
On orders from the dictatorship the SEBIN kidnapped a private security guard, identified as José Jerjes Neira, from the residence of the Spanish ambassador, Jesús Silva, where he had been working years at the diplomatic headquarters.
Nicolás Maduro’s intelligence service also arrested Nubia Campos, an employee of Leopoldo López, who used to bring food to the Commissioner during his stay at the Embassy.
The Presidential Commissioner for the Coordination of the Center of Government, Leopoldo López, left the country in a successful operation “that circumvented the apparatus of repression of Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship,” as the Legitimate Government expressed in a statement on Saturday.
Following López’s departure from Venezuela, the dictatorship is once again violating human rights in retaliation against the Spanish Embassy, making visible once again its oppressive and violent nature.
