The Director of the Coalition for Human Rights and Democracy, Ana Leonor Acosta, condemned the wave of repression and arrests carried out by Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship as a retaliation for the escape of political leader Leopoldo Lopez to international territory.
Acosta denounced the kidnapping of López’s security workers, Ibrahim Sojo and Carlos García; the lady who brought him food, Nubia Campos; and the private guard of the Spanish embassy, José Neira. She also informed that they are being held at the headquarters of the Bolivarian Service of National Intelligence (SEBIN) where they are being interrogated.
“In the case of Mrs. Nubia, we can say that she was taken without any kind of aggression. The officials of the dictatorship have returned to her house on different occasions looking for objects that could be used in the investigations they are carrying out,” she said.
Acosta assumes the defense of Nubia Campos, Ibrahim Sojo and Carlos García.
