The National Federation of Law Students of Venezuela (Fenede Venezuela) expressed its support for the formation of a National Emergency Government as proposed by the Legitimate Government of Venezuela headed by President (E) Juan Guaidó.
Through a letter, the Federation of Law Students assured that the socio-economic and political crisis that Venezuela is experiencing has become more acute during the more than 60 days of quarantine by the COVID-19, so it is urgent to create the Emergency Government, in order to set the country on the path towards a democratic transition.
Fenede Venezuela reiterated the importance of the participation of the country’s young students in the midst of the political crisis, being one of the sectors experiencing the great impediments represented by the absence of basic services such as electricity for the development of distance learning during the quarantine.
The Federation of Law Students reiterated its support to President Juan Guaidó for the reconstruction of Venezuela.
“Fully aware of the situation our country is going through, we decided to give all our support to the President in charge of the Republic Juan Guaidó. To whom we reiterate our willingness and good will to lend our knowledge as academics, at the service of the nation and the reconstruction of Venezuela through a National Emergency Government, as has been established before the country,” he stated.
