In addition to the shortage of gasoline, supplies and food, the communities in the state of Carabobo are constantly flooded due to the inefficiency of the regime.
After the heavy rains registered this Tuesday morning in Valencia, more than 2500 families in the Trapichito sector of the Miguel Peña parish were affected.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., the La Yucca stream overflowed and the water level that entered the houses reached more than 60 centimeters high.
The inhabitants of the community reported that due to the flooding, they lost mattresses, televisions, food, clothing, shoes and other household items.
Michel Castro, a resident of the sector, demanded that Governor Rafael Lacava and Mayor Alejandro Marvez address the problem. “We want the solutions for Trapichito, it is enough to come and explain to us what infrastructure is, what we want is solutions,” said Castro.
The neighbors indicated that this is the fourth time this year that there has been flooding in the sector due to the lack of drainage and deep cleaning of the stream.
They rejected that in spite of having gone on several occasions to the competent bodies, they have not obtained an effective response from the authorities.
