Nicolás Maduro’s regime keeps playing with the lives of Venezuelans every day. It is not enough the scarcity of basic services such as water, electricity and gas, the dictatorship also puts citizens’ health at risk.
The directors of Civil Defense in Táchira State denounced that for more than eight months they have not received resources from the central government, and that prevents maintaining transport units to offer ambulance service.
“We have not had a budget for the operational part, only for the payroll. We only have one ambulance, and 60% of the 100% work,” said Jaiberth Zambrano, Director of Civil Defense Táchira.
She also explained that the transport units that are paralyzed because they do not have spare tires, batteries, front axle maintenance and that they present other mechanical wear that cannot be taken care of due to lack of money.
