The President of the Association of Nurses of the Capital District, Ana Rosario Contreras, reiterated that the health union repudiates the action of Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship in preventing people from registering in the José María Vargas: Heroes of Health program of the Legitimate Government of Venezuela.
Contreras denounced that the regime blocks the means of registration and assured that it prevents the health personnel from receiving help from the social program.
The nurses’ union spokeswoman has reported that at least 300 nurses have been dismissed from their posts for standing up to the regime and warned that staff are coerced into not enrolling in the program.
“Preventing health personnel from receiving the economic support of $100 agreed by President Guaidó by blocking the means of registration is an action repudiated by the Nursing union,” she said through her Twitter account.
The president of the College of Nurses explained that Venezuelans cannot survive with a monthly salary that does not even reach $3, in the midst of a hyper-inflationary crisis that worsens daily.
