Leaders of the Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT) party in Miranda accompanied President Juan Guaidó on a tour of the Santa Cruz del Este sector in the Baruta municipality, where they brought the message of change and hope to the residents of the area.
“We are living a historic moment where Venezuelans are going to express and raise our voices in spite of the neglect to which they have subjected us and the needs that we are going through.”
The crisis in Venezuela is evident and affects us all, it is not only the interior of the country but even in Caracas the problems have worsened, so on December 12th we must all participate in the popular consultation,” emphasized Omar Villalba, vice president of UNT Miranda.
The former councilor of Baruta argued that “to combat the political crisis a political solution must be applied,” for which he supported the consultation mechanism called by the interim president.
“The solution to the crisis that the country is going through does not involve holding parliamentary elections, mainly because this call for elections has been flawed from the beginning when it was not the National Assembly who appointed the rectors of the National Electoral Council, therefore our fight will remain in favor of achieving free and fair elections,” stressed Villalba.
In the coming popular consultation, the leadership of UNT Miranda has taken to the streets of Venezuela to inform citizens of the importance of their participation in the December 12th process and how it will directly affect the political future of the country.
