The lawyers of the Coalition for Human Rights and Democracy requested the transfer of journalist Roland Carreño, a political prisoner of Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship, to a healthcare center so that he can be evaluated by his trusted doctors.
The lawyers highlighted that on August 26th, Mr. Carreño suffered an acute hypertensive crisis as a result of his arbitrary detention.
THE REGIME IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LIFE
The Director of the Office of the Presidency in Charge, Luis Somaza, blamed Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship for Mr. Carreño’s health and life.
“Our brother Roland Carreño suffered a hypertensive crisis at the PNB headquarters and his right to medical assistance was denied,” Somaza denounced in a message broadcast through his social network accounts.
He also recalled that on August 29th, was known the death of Gabriel Medina in a similar situation. He was denied medical attention for more than a month while dying in the dungeons of the regime, but the officials of the dictatorship denied him medical attention every time it was requested.
