The national president of Copei, Roberto Enriquez, sent a message to the Christian Democrat militancy and to all Venezuelans who trust in the speedy freedom of Venezuela.
Regarding the 75th anniversary of the party, Enriquez said that this year the celebration will be in honor of Dr. Oswaldo Álvarez Paz, an honored Venezuelan and a full-fledged democrat.
“This Wednesday, January 13th, Copei celebrates 75 years of history and that is why we are going to commemorate it by reaffirming our irreducible commitment to fight for the freedom of Venezuela,” said Enriquez.
The national president of Copey, urged the its militancy to celebrate so many years of tradition and history complying with the biosafety standards, as established by international health organizations, in order to avoid new infections of COVID-19.
“We are also going to present an institutional message for the rescue of democracy in Venezuela, where we will propose a roadmap to reaffirm the position of the democratic resistance and popular pressure, until we achieve the right that Venezuelans can decide their fate in truly fair and free elections.” Enriquez concluded in his message to party members.
